Welcome to my dolls (pop is the Dutch word for doll, whence the name of my site). I have been making dolls for some years now and I use various techniques with clay as a basis. It is the variety in techniques of modeling, painting and working with fabrics that fascinates me. And I enjoy experimenting.
When I'm working the dolls often simply evolve. They are not preconceived and I go by what I feel. But sometimes I choose a specific subject, that is why there are human-like dolls as well as fantasy figures, elf-like figures. I also make dolls to order - usually in a discussion about the project views or thoughts come up that serve as a good starting point, show me as it were the direction and help me find the desired shape, so that both the artist and the customer are happy with the final result.
